Do you have a passion for Vue and TypeScript, a focus on building large, complex systems at scale, or an interest in owning the infrastructure those systems run on?

ConnectNGo, part of Peek's family of brands, is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of frontend development experience overall, including at least 2 years working with Vue and TypeScript, is comfortable owning the full lifecycle of a frontend app (from component to CI/CD pipeline), and uses AI tools to move faster without losing sight of the fundamentals.

ConnectNGo builds the operations, point-of-sale, and back-office systems that attractions, venues, and other operators run their business on: ticketing, configuration, and day-to-day tools used directly by our customers' staff. This role focuses on the frontend applications and shared tooling that power those experiences.

We're hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer who works AI-first: someone who treats AI as a core part of how they build software and break down ambiguous problems. That includes building workflows, reviewing their work critically, and course-correcting when things go sideways. You'll help build good habits for people and agents to work together, and use that to ship real features faster, alongside plenty of hands-on engineering of your own.

What you’ll do

Build and maintain Vue/Nuxt frontend applications for ticketing, point-of-sale, and back-office configuration.
Establish and maintain shared internal SDKs, component libraries, and boilerplate used across frontend teams.
Set up agent-assisted workflows to ship faster, and review everything before it merges.
Collaborate with Product and Design to surface spec gaps and push back when something isn't ready.
Set the quality bar: code review and test coverage, catching bugs whether human- or AI-written.

What we are looking for

Required

Strong Vue 3 (with some legacy Vue 2) and TypeScript fundamentals: component architecture, state management (Pinia/Vuex), and accessibility.
5+ years of frontend development experience overall, including 2+ years with Vue, TypeScript, Nuxt (or similar), and Vite.
Experience consuming REST APIs via shared SDKs, form validation.
Solid coding practices: code review, testing (Vitest, Vue Test Utils), and CI.
Strong system design instincts: tradeoffs, edge cases, and performance budgets, in the browser and the pipeline.
Daily use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or equivalent), with the judgment to critically review AI-generated code and own what gets merged.
Clear, empathetic communicator: scopes ambiguous work, flags spec gaps, and disagrees constructively across teams.

Nice to Haves

Comfortable across the full delivery pipeline: build tooling, CI/CD (GitLab CI), and containerized deployments (Docker).
Cloud infrastructure ownership
Shared component/design system or boilerplate experience
Publishing/versioning internal npm packages
Observability/monitoring tooling in a frontend context
B2B or point-of-sale experience in the attractions/venue industry

AI Literacy

We expect Senior Frontend Engineers to be genuinely fluent with AI-assisted development, not just occasional users of autocomplete. Here's what that looks like day to day:

Daily, hands-on use of an agentic coding tool (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or equivalent) for real feature work, not just isolated snippets.
Comfort building the guardrails that keep agentic work reliable: repo conventions, scoped rules, and quality gates for non-trivial changes.
Good judgment on when to delegate to an agent, how to scope a reviewable prompt, and how to course-correct when it drifts.
Careful review of AI-generated diffs, catching plausible-but-wrong logic and security issues around payments and PII, and owning whatever you merge.
Curiosity about agent-orchestration patterns (multi-agent workflows, human-in-the-loop review) and interest in improving ours.
