This Senior UX Designer role will have an immense impact on Neighbor’s planned exponential growth. You’ll report to the Director of UX Design and work closely with our design team, our product and engineering teams, and other departments to solve our neighbors’ biggest challenges through product enhancements.
What You'll Do
- Create, design and prototype experiences for our cross-platform marketplace on iOS, Android, and the web
- Conduct user research and competitive analysis to learn more about our products, and understand customer challenges. Know how to validate designs to ensure that they are usable, meet accessibility standards, and solve real problems.
- Work alongside product and engineering to create solutions that are valuable, usable, feasible, and viable
- Support our design system across web, iOS, and Android
- Collaborate with engineers to implement designs
About You
- 4-6 years of experience working as a UX or product designer, and a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- An online portfolio of work with case studies of real projects you’ve worked on
- Experience in all areas of product design including user research, task analysis, visual design, and interactive prototyping
- Experience conducting UX research
- A track record of working with cross-functional teams such as product, engineering, and marketing teams
- (Bonus) Experience working on mobile applications
- (Bonus) Experience creating design systems
